Regional STEM Programs

 

The Metro North Regional Employment Board has identified STEM initiatives offered by companies within the 20 cities and towns that comprise the Metro North region. Each of the companies listed to the right exhibit strengths in the following areas:

  • Integration of STEM activities into the company’s mission/community service focus;

  • Employee incentives and/or support to provide outreach and participate in STEM events;

  • Academic relevance for STEM activities;

  • Inclusion of employability and employment skill development in STEM areas of application;

  • Methods for updating, partnering and evaluating STEM outreach efforts and activities;
